[Machine] "O worst state! What is the condition of one who wakes up and goes to sleep waiting for death, not knowing what Allah will do with him."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٤٧٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَيَّارٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَرْوَانَ الْعِجْلِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عَطَاءٌ الْأَزْرَقُ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ الْحَسَنَ كَيْفَ أَنْتَ كَيْفَ حَالُكَ؟ قَالَ

«يَا شَرَّ حَالٍ وَمَا حَالُ مَنْ أَصْبَحَ وَأَمْسَى يَنْتَظِرُ الْمَوْتَ لَا يَدْرِي مَا يَفْعَلُ اللَّهُ بِهِ»
