[Machine] "Which one of us is there? May the devil wish that you had taken it from him, and he did not order anyone for good or prohibit anyone from evil."  

الزهد لأحمد:١٣٧٤حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ أَنْبَأَنَا سَلَامُ بْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ قَالَ كَانَ الْحَسَنُ فِي مَجْلِسٍ فَقِيلَ لِأَبِي الْعَلَاءِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ تَكَلَّمْ قَالَ أَوَهُنَاكَ أَنَا؟ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ الْكَلَامَ وَمُؤْنَتَهُ وَتَبِعِتَهُ قَالَ ثَابِتٌ فَأَعْجَبَنِي قَالَ ثُمَّ تَكَلَّمَ الْحَسَنُ فَقَالَ

«أَيُّنَا هُنَاكَ؟ لَوَدَّ الشَّيْطَانُ أَنَّكُمْ أَخَذْتُمُوهَا عَنْهُ فَلَمْ يَأْمُرْ أَحَدٌ بِخَيْرٍ وَلَمْ يَنْهَ أَحَدٌ عَنْ شَرٍّ»
