Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, "The noblest act of worship is supplication."  

الأدب المفرد:٧١٣ – حَدَّثَنَا خَلِيفَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عِمْرَانُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ أَشْرَفُ الْعِبَادَةِ الدُّعَاءُ
