adab:640Yaḥyā b. Sulaymān > Ibn Wahb > ʿAmr b. al-Ḥārith > Darrāj > Abū al-Haytham > Abū Saʿīd al-Khuḍrī

Abu Said al-Khudri reported that the Prophet ﷺ said: "If any Muslim does not have anything to give as sadaqah, he should say in his dua:

O Allah, bless Muhammad, Your slave and Your Messenger and bless the believers, both men and women, and the Muslims, both men and women.

That will be sadaqah for him."

الأدب المفرد:٦٤٠حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ دَرَّاجٍ أَنَّ أَبَا الْهَيْثَمَ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «أَيُّمَا رَجُلٌ مُسْلِمٌ لَمْ يَكُنْ عِنْدَهُ صَدَقَةٌ فَلْيَقُلْ فِي دُعَائِهِ:

اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ عَبْدِكَ وَرَسُولِكَ وَصَلِّ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ وَالْمُسْلِمِينَ وَالْمُسْلِمَاتِ

فَإِنَّهَا لَهُ زَكَاةٌ»
