Abu Hurayra reported that the Prophet ﷺ said that Allah Almighty said, "Might is My wrapper and pride is My cloak. I will punish anyone who contends with Me over either of them."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ الْعِزُّ إِزَارِي وَالْكِبْرِيَاءُ رِدَائِي فَمَنْ نَازَعَنِي بِشَيْءٍ مِنْهُمَا عَذَّبْتُهُ
