In commenting on the words of Allah Almighty, "Anything you spend will be replaced by Him. and He is the best of Providers," (34:39) Ibn 'Abbas said, "without extravagance or parsimony."  

الأدب المفرد:٤٤٣حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلاَئِيِّ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ {وَمَا أَنْفَقْتُمْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ فَهُوَ يَخْلُفُهُ وَهُوَ خَيْرُ الرَّازِقِينَ} قَالَ فِي غَيْرِ إِسْرَافٍ ولا تَقْتِيرٍ
