حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ قَالَ ذَكَرْتُ لأَبِي حَدِيثَ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ إِنَّ أَهْلَ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الدُّنْيَا هُمْ أَهْلُ الْمَعْرُوفِ فِي الْآخِرَةِ فَقَالَ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ مِنْ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ يُحَدِّثُهُ عَنْ سَلْمَانَ فَعَرَفْتُ أَنَّ ذَاكَ كَذَاكَ فَمَا حَدَّثْتُ بِهِ أَحَدًا قَطُّ
