abudawud:3818 – Muḥammad b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz b. Abū Rizmah > al-Faḍl b. Mūsá > Ḥusayn b. Wāqid > Ayyūb > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

The Prophet ﷺ said: I wish I had a white loaf made from tawny and softened with clarified butter and milk. A man from among the people got up and getting one brought it. He asked: In which had it been? He replied: In a lizard skin. He said: Take it away. Abu Dawud said: This is a munkar (rejected) tradition. Abu Dawud said: Ayyub, the narrator of this tradition, is not (Ayyub) al-Sakhtiyani.  

أبو داود:٣٨١٨ – حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رِزْمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ حُسَيْنِ بْنِ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ عِنْدِي خُبْزَةً بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ بُرَّةٍ سَمْرَاءَ مُلَبَّقَةً بِسَمْنٍ وَلَبَنٍ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ فَاتَّخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ فَقَالَ فِي أَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ هَذَا قَالَ فِي عُكَّةِ ضَبٍّ قَالَ ارْفَعْهُ  

قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَأَيُّوبُ لَيْسَ هُوَ السَّخْتِيَانِيَّ

“One day, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘I wish that we had some white bread made of brown wheat, softened with ghee, that we could eat.’ A man from among the Ansar heard that, so he took some (of that food) and brought it to him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: ‘Where was this ghee kept?’ He said: ‘In a container made of mastigure skin.’ And he refused to eat it.”  

ابن ماجة:٣٣٤١ – حَدَّثَنَا هَدِيَّةُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى السِّيْنَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ وَدِدْتُ لَوْ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا خُبْزَةً بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ بُرَّةٍ سَمْرَاءَ مُلَبَّقَةٍ بِسَمْنٍ نَأْكُلُهَا قَالَ فَسَمِعَ بِذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ فَاتَّخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي أَىِّ شَىْءٍ كَانَ هَذَا السَّمْنُ قَالَ فِي عُكَّةِ ضَبٍّ قَالَ فَأَبَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَهُ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "I wish we had a white bread made from barley, attached with ghee and yogurt." Then a man from the people took it and brought it to him and asked him what this was for. He said, "It was in a hole of a lizard." So he told him to lift it up.  

البيهقي:١٩٤٢٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْقَاضِي قَالَا أنبأ حَاجِبُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الطُّوسِيُّ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ مُنِيبٍ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ وَاقِدٍ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ؓ قَالَ

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ وَدِدْتُ أَنَّ عِنْدَنَا خُبْزَةً بَيْضَاءَ مِنْ بُرٍّ سَمْرَاءَ مُلَيَّقَةً بِسَمْنٍ وَلَبَنٍ فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْقَوْمِ فَاتَّخَذَهُ فَجَاءَ بِهِ فَسَأَلَهُ فِي أِيِّ شَيْءٍ كَانَ هَذَا؟ قَالَ كَانَ فِي عُكَّةِ ضَبٍّ فَقَالَ ارْفَعْهُ  

أَخْرَجَهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ فِي السُّنَنِ وَقَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ
