The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stayed (at Mecca) for three days during umrah for atonement ('Umrat al-Qada')  

أبو داود:١٩٩٧حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ رُشَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ وَعَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي نَجِيحٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَقَامَ فِي عُمْرَةِ الْقَضَاءِ ثَلاَثًا
