The Prophet ﷺ performed the obligatory circumambulation (Tawaf al-Ziyarah) on the day of the sacrifice ; he then offered the noon prayer at Mina when he returned.  

أبو داود:١٩٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ حَنْبَلٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَفَاضَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى يَعْنِي رَاجِعًا

ahmad:4898 – ʿAbd al-Razzāq > ʿUbaydullāh > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

Ibn Umar reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ observed the circumambulation of Ifada on the Day of Nabr (10th of Dhu'l-Hijja), and then came back and observed the noon prayer at Mina. Nafi' (one of the narrators) said that Ibn Umar used to observe the circumambulation of Ifada on the Day of Nahr, and then return and observe the noon prayer at Mina, and mentioned that Allah's Apostle ﷺ did that. (Using translation from Muslim 1308)  

أحمد:٤٨٩٨ – حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَفَاضَ يَوْمَ النَّحْرِ ثُمَّ رَجَعَفَصَلَّى الظُّهْرَ بِمِنًى  

ذِكْرُ الْخَبَرِ الْمُدْحِضِ قَوْلَ مَنْ زَعَمَ أَنَّ رَفَعَ هَذَا الْخَبَرِ وَهُمٌ
