"The parable of the one who gives a gift, and then takes it back, is that of a dog who eats until he is full, and vomits, then he returns to [take back] his vomit."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي الْعَطِيَّةَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا كَالْكَلْبِ أَكَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فَرَجَعَ فِي قَيْئِهِ
"It is not permissible for a man to give a gift and then take it back except a father taking back what he gave to his son. The likeness of the one who gives a gift then takes it back is that of the dog which eats until it is full, then it vomits, and goes back to its vomit."
عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ وَابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ يَرْفَعَانِ الْحَدِيثَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا إِلاَّ الْوَالِدَ فِيمَا يُعْطِي وَلَدَهُ وَمَثَلُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ أَكَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ
"The Messenger of Allah said: 'It is not permissible for anyone to give a gift then take it back, except a father with regard to what he gives to his son. The likeness of the one who gives a gift then takes it back, is that of the dog which eats then when it is full it vomits, then it goes back to its vomit.'"

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَثَلُ الَّذِي يَعُودُ فِي عَطِيَّتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ يَأْكُلُ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبِعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَأَكَلَهُ
[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said: "The example of the one who returns to his fear is like the example of a dog that vomits and then returns to its vomit."

"لَا يَحِلُّ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يُعْطِي عَطِيَّةً، أَوْ يَهَبَ هِبَةً فَيرجعَ فِيهَا إلا الْوالِدُ فِيمَا يُعْطِي وَلَدَهُ، وَمَثلُ الَّذِي يُعْطِي الْعَطِيَّةَ ثُمَّ يَرْجِعُ فِيهَا كَمَثلِ الْكَلْبِ يأكُلُ فَإِذَا شَبعَ قَاءَ ثُمَّ عَادَ في قَيئِهِ".
"مثَلُ الذِى يعُودُ في عَطِيَّتِهِ، كَمثل الكَلْب يأكُلُ حتى إِذَا شَبع قَاءَ ثُمَّ عاد في قَيئِهِ فَأَكَلَهُ".
"الَّذي يَرْجعُ فِي عَطيَّته كَمَثَلِ الْكْلب أكَلَ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبعَ قَاءَ، ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيئِهِ فأَكَلَهُ" .
"عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ فِي الَّذِي يَرْجِعُ فِي عَطِيَّتِهِ كَمَثَلِ الْكَلْبِ، يَأكُلُ حَتَّى إِذَا شَبعَ قَاءَ، ثُمَّ عَادَ فِي قَيْئِهِ فَأَكَلَهُ".
