[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a battle in which he fought against a woman who was killed, and he forbade the killing of women and children."  

الطبراني:١٣٤١٦حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ ثنا أَبِي ثنا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ثنا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ قَرْمٍ عَنْ زَيْدٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جُبَيْرٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

«مَرَّ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ مَقْتُولَةٍ فَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ»

It is narrated by Ibn 'Umar that a woman was found killed in one of these battles; so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the killing of women and children.

ibnmajah:2841Yaḥyá b. Ḥakīm > ʿUthmān b. ʿUmar > Mālik b. Anas > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

It was narrated from Ibn ‘Umar that the Prophet ﷺ saw a woman who had been killed on the road, and he forbade killing women and children.  

ابن ماجة:٢٨٤١حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَكِيمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ أَنْبَأَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ رَأَى امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فِي بَعْضِ الطَّرِيقِ فَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ  

malik:21-9Mālik > Nāfiʿ > Ibn ʿUmar

Yahya related to me from Malik from Nafi from Ibn Umar that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw the corpse of a woman who had been slain in one of the raids, and he disapproved of it and forbade the killing of women and children.  

مالك:٢١-٩وَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ رَأَى فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِيهِ امْرَأَةً مَقْتُولَةً فَأَنْكَرَ ذَلِكَ وَنَهَى عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a battle that was fought due to a slain woman. He then prohibited killing women and children.

‘Abd Allaah bin (mas’ud) said “A woman was found slain in one of the battles of the Apostle of Allaah ﷺ. The Apostle of Allaah ﷺ forbade to kill women and children. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2668)   

الدارمي:٢٥٠٥أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ مُسْهِرٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ هُوَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ حَفْصِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

وُجِدَ فِي بَعْضِ مَغَازِي رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ امْرَأَةٌ مَقْتُولَةٌ «فَنَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَنْ قَتْلِ النِّسَاءِ وَالصِّبْيَانِ»  

ذِكْرُ خَبَرٍ أَوْهَمَ مَنْ لَمْ يُحْسِنْ طَلَبَ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ مَظَانِّهِ، أَنَّهُ مُضَادُّ لِلْأَخْبَارِ الَّتِي تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لَهَا

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw a dead woman in one of his expeditions and expressed disapproval of it, prohibiting the killing of women and children.
