The Messenger of Allah ﷺ got him self cupped and gave the cupper his wages. Had he considered it impure, he would not have given it (wage) to him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3423)  

الطبراني:١١٩٥٤حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَعْطَى الْحَجَّامَ أَجْرَهُ وَلَوْ عَلِمَهُ خَبِيثًا لَمْ يُعْطِهِ»

Once the Prophet ﷺ got his blood out (medically) and paid that person who had done it. If it had been illegal, the Prophet ﷺ would not have paid him.

It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was treated with cupping and he gave the cupper his fee. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1129)

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed hijama (cupping) and gave the cupper his payment, even though it was forbidden. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not give it to him.

It was narrated from ʿAli ؓ that The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was treated with cupping and he gave the cupper his fee. (Using translation from Aḥmad 1129)

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ بِهَذِهِ الزِّيَادَةِ على شرط البخاري ومسلم
