Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a piece of cooked mutton from the shoulder region and prayed without repeating ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Prophet ﷺ ate (a piece of) mutton from the shoulder region and then prayed without repeating the ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عِنْدَهَا كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (meat of) goat's shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took flesh from the bone or meat, and then offered prayer and did not perform ablution, and (in fact) he did not touch water.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عَرْقًا أَوْ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ took (the meat of) a (goat's) shoulder and offered prayer and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا آكُلُ مُتَّكِئًا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate a shoulder, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] I heard Ibn Abbas saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from what fire had changed, then he prayed without performing ablution."

سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ يَقُولُ أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِمَّا غَيَّرَتِ النَّارُ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat a morsel of food, then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate meat and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ ate bread and meat, then he prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat something, then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] I entered the mosque in Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "He is Sahl ibn al-Hanzaliyyah." I heard him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ أُنَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُهُمْ قُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He saw the Prophet ﷺ eat something and then pray without performing ablution.

أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "This is Sahel ibn Al-Hanzaliyyah." So I listened to him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

[AI] "The Prophet ﷺ kissed, then prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَبَّلَ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Zayd Aslam from Ata ibn Yasar from Abdullah Abbas that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder of lamb and then prayed without doing wudu.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Abu Nuaym Wahb ibn Kaysan that he heard Jabir ibn Abdullah al-Ansari saying, "I saw Abu Bakr as- Siddiq eat meat and then pray without doing wudu."

يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate from a shoulder, or he said, "Sweated from a rib," then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ أَوْ قَالَ «تَعَرَّقَ مِنْ ضِلَعٍ» ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

«أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a part [of an animal] and then prayed without performing ablution."

«أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عُضْوًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] I entered the mosque of Damascus and saw people gathered and a sheikh speaking to them. So, I asked, "Who is this?" They said, "Sahl ibn Al Hanbalia." I heard him saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever eats meat, let him perform ablution.'"

دَخَلْتُ مَسْجِدَ دِمَشْقَ فَرَأَيْتُ نَاسًا مُجْتَمِعِينَ وَشَيْخًا يُحَدِّثُهُمْ فَقُلْتُ مَنْ هَذَا؟ قَالُوا سَهْلُ ابْنُ الْحَنْظَلِيَّةِ فَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا فَلْيَتَوَضَّأْ»

I ate the flesh of a bustard along with the Prophet ﷺ. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3797)

«أَكَلْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ لَحْمَ حُبَارَى»

[AI] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder or meat, then he prayed without rinsing his mouth or touching water.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا أَوْ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَمَضْمَضْ وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate a piece and performed prayer without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ عُضْوًا وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ ate meat and prayed without performing ablution.

أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لَحْمًا وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating meat from the shoulder of a sheep, then he prayed without performing ablution."

«رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate from the shoulder of a sheep and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفِ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] "That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder and then prayed without touching water, and the wording is from the hadith of Yahya Al-Qattan."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَمَسَّ مَاءً وَاللَّفْظُ لِحَدِيثِ يَحْيَى الْقَطَّانِ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate some meat and did not perform ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate from a shoulder, then he prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ passed wind from his shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «انْتَهَشَ مِنْ كَتِفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ ate meat as his last meal, then performed prayer without performing ablution.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَكَلَ آخِرَ أَمْرَيْهِ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He heard Maymuna saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ ate a shoulder, then he prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَيْمُونَةَ تَقُولُ «أَكَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ كَتِفًا فَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating a shoulder and then he stood up for prayer without performing ablution.

أَنَّهَا «رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ قَامَ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] He "ate a shoulder and then prayed without performing ablution" refers to the Prophet ﷺ.

أَنَّهُ «أَكَلَ كَتِفًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ» تَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

[AI] She saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ eating bread and meat, and he prayed without performing ablution.

«أَنَّهَا رَأَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا وَصَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] "That the Prophet ﷺ visited them, ate the shoulder of a sheep, then prayed without performing ablution."

«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ زَارَهُمْ فَأَكَلَ كَتِفَ شَاةٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ»

[AI] And he said, the last two things commanded by the Messenger of Allah ﷺ were that he ate bread and meat, then he prayed without performing ablution.

وَقَالَ كَانَ آخِرُ الْأَمْرَيْنِ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ أَكَلَ خُبْزًا وَلَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

[AI] He heard Jabir ibn Abdullah saying, "I saw Abu Bakr As-Siddiq eating meat, then he prayed without performing ablution."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللهِ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ ؓ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأْ

"عن أَبى بكر قال: رأيت النبى ﷺ نَهَشَ مِنْ كَتفٍ ثُمَّ صَلَّى ولَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".

"عَنْ أَبِى بَكْرٍ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ الله ﷺ أَكَلَ لَحْمًا ثُمَّ صَلَّى وَلَمْ يَتَوَضَّأ".
