"عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ عَلِىٌّ: لَقَدْ تَزَوجْتُ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَمَا لِىَ وَلَهَا فِرَاشٌ غَيْرُ جِلدِ كَبْشٍ نَنَامُ عَلَيْهِ بِالَّليْلِ وَنَعْلِفُ عَلَيْهِ نَاضِحَنا بِالنَهَاَّرِ، وَمَا لِى خَادِم غيْرُهَا".
