"عن عَلىٍّ قال: لَمَّا تَزَوَجْتُ فَاطمَةَ قُلتُ يَا رسولَ الله: مَا أَبِيع؟ فَرَسِى أَوْ دِرْعِى؟ قَالَ: بِعْ دِرْعَكَ. فَبِعْتُهَا بِثنْتَىْ عَشْرَةَ أُوقِيَّةً، فَكَانَ مَهْرَ فَاطِمَةَ".
