"عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ النَّخَعِى قَالَ: إِنَّمَا كَانَ عَلِىٍّ يَقْنُتُ لأنَّهُ كَانَ مُحَاربًا، وَكَانَ يَدْعُو عَلَى أعْدَائِهِ فِى الْقُنُوتِ فِى الْفَجْرِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ".
