"عَنْ أَبِى الضُّحَى أَنَّ عَلِيّا كَانَ يَقُولُ: إِذَا سَرَقَ قَطَعْتُ يَدَهُ، ثُمَّ إِذَا سَرَقَ الثَّانِيَةَ قَطَعْتُ رِجْلَهُ، فَإِنْ سَرَقَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ لَمْ يَرَ عَلَيْهِ قَطْعٌ (*) ".
