"عَن الضَّحَّاكِ بْنِ مُزَاحِمٍ قَالَ: خَطَبَ عَلِيٌّ النَّاسَ فَقَالَ: يَا مَعْشَرَ

الأَطِبَّاءِ، وَالبَيَاطِرَةِ، وَالمطَبِّبِينَ: مَنْ عَالَجَ مِنْكُمْ إِنْسَانًا، أَوْ دَابَّةً فَلْيَأخُذْ لِنَفْسِهِ البَرَاءَةَ، فإنَّهُ إنْ عَالَجَ شَيْئًا وَلَمْ يَأخُذْ لِنفْسِهِ البَراءَةَ فَعَطِبَ، فَهُو ضَامِنٌ".
