He who wants to publicise (his deeds), Allah will publicise (his humility), and he who makes a hypocritical display (of his deeds), Allah will make a display of him.

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).”
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ
“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).”
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ
[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever stands in a place of showing off and fame, Allah will expose him on the Day of Judgment."
أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ»
[AI] The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: "Whoever does not thank people, does not thank Allah."
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ لَمْ يَشْكُرِ النَّاسَ لَمْ يَشْكُرِ اللهَ

عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنْ يُرَائِي يُرَائِي اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللهُ بِهِ
[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Anyone who delivers a sermon seeking nothing but reputation and fame, Allah will make him stand on the Day of Resurrection in a position of hypocrisy and reputation-seeking."
سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ بِخُطْبَةٍ لَا يَلْتَمِسُ بِهَا إِلَّا رِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً أَوْقَفَهُ اللهُ ﷻ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَوْقِفَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَمَّعَ يُسَمِّعُ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ رَاءَى يُرَائِي اللَّهُ بِهِ»
[AI] From the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever speaks, Allah hears him; and whoever sees, Allah sees him; and whoever has two tongues in this world, Allah will give him two tongues of fire on the Day of Resurrection."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «لَا وُضُوءَ إِلَّا مِنْ رِيحٍ أَوْ سَمَاعٍ»
[AI] He who listens, Allah listens to him. He who sees, Allah sees him on the Day of Resurrection. And whoever humbles himself before Allah in humility, Allah raises him on the Day of Resurrection.

"مَنْ قَامَ مَقَام رِيَاءٍ أَقَامَهُ الله مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ".
"مَنْ قَامَ مقَامَ ريَاءٍ وَسُمْعَة رَايَا الله -تَعَالى- بهِ يوْمَ القِيَامةِ وَسَمَّعَ بِهِ".
"مَنْ قَامَ في الصَّلاة فَالتَفَتَ رَدَّ الله عَلَيه صَلاتَهُ".
طب عن أَبي الدرداء "مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ رَايَا الله بِهِ، وَمَنْ قَامَ مقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ، سَمَّع الله بِهِ".
"مَنْ يُرَائِي يُرَائِي اللهُ بِهِ، وَمَنْ يُسَمِّع يُسَمِّع اللهُ بِهِ".
"لا يَسْمعُ اللهُ مِنْ (مُسْمِعٍ) (، ) وَلا مِنْ مُرائِي، وَلا لاهٍ، وَلا لاعِبٍ".
