If anyone wants to have his deeds widely publicised, Allah will publicise (his humiliation). And if anyone makes a hypocritical display (of his deeds) Allah will make a display of him.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever stands in a place of showing off and fame, Allah will expose him on the Day of Judgment."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ رَاءَى اللَّهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Anyone who delivers a sermon seeking nothing but reputation and fame, Allah will make him stand on the Day of Resurrection in a position of hypocrisy and reputation-seeking."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ بِخُطْبَةٍ لَا يَلْتَمِسُ بِهَا إِلَّا رِيَاءً وَسُمْعَةً أَوْقَفَهُ اللهُ ﷻ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ مَوْقِفَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4207)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُرَائي يُرَائي اللهُ بِهِ

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4207)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ

[AI] "He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever stands with the intention of showing off and seeking reputation, Allah will expose him on the Day of Judgment and disgrace him.'"

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., expose his real motives).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4207)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَمَّعَ يُسَمِّعُ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ رَاءَى يُرَائِي اللَّهُ بِهِ»

[AI] He heard from the Prophet ﷺ except Junadah saying, "I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, 'Whoever causes others to hear, Allah will make him hear, and whoever shows others visions, Allah will show him visions.'"

سَمِعَ مِنَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ إِلَّا جُنْدُبًا يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُرَائِي يُرَائِي اللهُ بِهِ»

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ رَايَا رَايَا اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever stands in a position of showing off, Allah will expose him, and whoever stands in a position of seeking fame, Allah will make him heard."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ»

[AI] "From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ , he said: 'There is no servant who stands in this world with fame and showiness, except that Allah will make him hear about it on the heads of creatures on the Day of Resurrection.'"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَقُومُ فِي الدُّنْيَا مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ وَرِيَاءٍ إِلَّا سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[AI] He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Whoever stands in a position of showmanship and reputation, Allah will show him on the Day of Judgment and disgrace him."

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَسَمَّعَ»

[AI] I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying, "Whoever stands up in the place of showing off, Allah will make it visible to him, and whoever stands up in the place of fame, Allah will make it heard by him."

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ»

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4206)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ اللهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ رَاءَى رَاءَى اللهُ بِهِ»

“Whoever wants to be heard of, Allah will make him heard of, and whoever wants to be seen, Allah will show him (i.e., make known to the people his true motives and intentions).” (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 4206)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «مَنْ يُسَمِّعْ يُسَمِّعِ اللَّهُ بِهِ وَمَنْ يُرَاءِ يُرَاءِ اللَّهُ بِهِ»

"مَنْ سَمَّعَ سَمَّعَ الله بهِ، وَمَنْ رَايَا رَايَا الله بِهِ".

"مَنْ قَامَ مَقَام رِيَاءٍ أَقَامَهُ الله مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ وَسُمْعَةٍ".

"مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ رَايَا اللهُ بهِ، وَمنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ سَمَّع الله بهِ".

"مَنْ قَامَ في الصَّلاة فَالتَفَتَ رَدَّ الله عَلَيه صَلاتَهُ".

طب عن أَبي الدرداء "مَنْ قَامَ مَقَامَ رِيَاءٍ رَايَا الله بِهِ، وَمَنْ قَامَ مقَامَ سُمْعَةٍ، سَمَّع الله بِهِ".
