"مَنْ أَصَاب لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشهِد ذَا عَدْلٍ ثُمَّ لا يَكْتمْ ولا يُغَيِّب، فَليُعَرِّفْهُا سَنَةً، فَإِنْ جاءَ صَاحِبُها، وإِلَّا فَهي مالُ اللهِ يؤتِيه من يشَاءُ".

[Machine] Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ , "Whoever finds lost property should make a public proclamation, seeking its rightful owner, for a year. If the owner does not appear, then the finder may take possession of it, for it is the property of Allah, and He gives it to whom He wills."
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ مَنِ الْتَقَطَ لُقَطَةً فَلْيُشْهِدْ ذَوَيْ عَدْلٍ أَوْ ذَا عَدْلٍ خَالِدٌ الشَّاكُّ وَلَا يَكْتُمْ وَلَا يُغَيِّبْ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا فَهُوَ أَحَقُّ بِهَا وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ
[Machine] "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about lost and found items. He said, 'They should be announced and not concealed or kept hidden. If the rightful owner comes forward, it should be returned to him, otherwise, it belongs to Allah and He gives it to whom He wills.'"
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ سُئِلَ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ «تُعَرَّفُ وَلَا تُغَيَّبُ وَلَا تُكْتَمُ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا وَإِلَّا فَهُوَ مَالُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»

[Machine] He asked the Prophet ﷺ about the lost item and he said, "It should be identified and not concealed or kept secret. If its owner comes forward, then it should be returned to him. Otherwise, it is for Allah to give to whom He wills."
أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ اللُّقَطَةِ فَقَالَ «تُعَرَّفُ وَلَا تُغَيَّبُ وَلَا تُكْتَمُ فَإِنْ جَاءَ صَاحِبُهَا وَإِلَّا فَمَالُ اللهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ»
[Machine] On the authority of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ who said, "Whoever finds a lost item should testify regarding it, then not conceal or hide it, and announce it for a year. If its owner comes, he gives it back, otherwise, it belongs to Allah and He gives it to whomever He wills."
