"لِتَتُبْ هَذِه المَرأةُ إِلَى اللهِ وَإلَى رَسُولِهِ، وَتردَّ عَلى النَّاسِ مَتَاعهَمُ، قُم، فُلانُ فَاقْطَع يَدهَا".

[خط] الخطيب عن ابن عمر قال: كانت امرأةٌ تأتى قوْمًا لتستعير منهم الحُليَّ ثم تُمسكه، فرُفع ذلك إلى النبي ﷺ قال فذكره
