"سَمِعْتُ زَيْدَ بنَ عَمْرو بْن نُفَيْل ... يقول: "في أَكْلِ مَا ذُبِح لِغَيْرِ اللهِ" مَا ذُقْت شَيْئًا ذُبِح عَلَى النُّصب حَتَّى أَكْرَمَنى اللهُ تَعَالى مَا أَكْرَمَنِى بِهِ مِن رِسَالَتِهِ".
