"Asma' bint 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr and she sent word to the Messenger of Allah asking him what she should do. He told here to perform Ghusl and wrap her private parts in a cloth, and to begin the talbiyah. (Using translation from Nasāʾī 2762)  

الكبرى للنسائي:٣٧٢٨ – أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرِ بْنِ إِيَاسٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ جَعْفَرٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ

نَفَسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ فَأَرْسَلَتْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ تَسْأَلُهُ كَيْفَ تَفْعَلُ «فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتَسْتَثْفِرَ بِثَوْبِهَا»

ʿA'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Asma' bint ʿUmais gave birth to Muhammad b Abu Bakr near Dhu'l-Hulaifa. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr to convey to her that she should take a bath and then enter into the state of Ihram.

Asma daughther of 'Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr at Shajarah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr to ask her to take a bath and wear ihram.  

أبو داود:١٧٤٣ – حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ

نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَبَا بَكْرٍ أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ فَتُهِلَّ

“Asma’ bint ‘Umais gave birth to Muhammad bin Abi Bakr and sent word to the Prophet ﷺ. He told her to take a bath, fasten a cloth around her private part and begin the Talbiyah.”
