15. Ḥajj (Major Pilgrimage)
١٥۔ كتاب الحج
ʿA'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Asma' bint ʿUmais gave birth to Muhammad b Abu Bakr near Dhu'l-Hulaifa. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr to convey to her that she should take a bath and then enter into the state of Ihram.
نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَأْمُرُهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ
Jabir b. ʿAbdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that when Asma' bint ʿUmais gave birth (to a child) in Dhu'l-Hulaifa. Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr (to convey to her) that she should take a bath and enter into the state of Ihram.
