15.16 The soundness of Ihram for the woman in Nifas; It is recommended for her to perform Ghusl before entering Ihram, and the same applies to one who is menstruating

١٥۔١٦ باب إِحْرَامِ النُّفَسَاءِ وَاسْتِحْبَابِ اغْتِسَالِهَا لِلإِحْرَامِ وَكَذَا الْحَائِضِ

ʿA'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Asma' bint ʿUmais gave birth to Muhammad b Abu Bakr near Dhu'l-Hulaifa. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr to convey to her that she should take a bath and then enter into the state of Ihram.  

مسلم:١٢٠٩ – حَدَّثَنَا هَنَّادُ بْنُ السَّرِيِّ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَعُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ كُلُّهُمْ عَنْ عَبْدَةَ قَالَ زُهَيْرٌ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ؓ قَالَتْ

نُفِسَتْ أَسْمَاءُ بِنْتُ عُمَيْسٍ بِمُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ بِالشَّجَرَةِ فَأَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَبَا بَكْرٍ يَأْمُرُهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ

Jabir b. ʿAbdullah (Allah be pleased with them) reported that when Asma' bint ʿUmais gave birth (to a child) in Dhu'l-Hulaifa. Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded Abu Bakr (to convey to her) that she should take a bath and enter into the state of Ihram.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَمَرَ أَبَا بَكْرٍ ؓ فَأَمَرَهَا أَنْ تَغْتَسِلَ وَتُهِلَّ
