15.11 Cupping is permissible for the Muhrim (pilgrim in Ihram)

١٥۔١١ باب جَوَازِ الْحِجَامَةِ لِلْمُحْرِمِ

muslim:1202 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah And Zuhayr b. Ḥarb Waʾisḥāq b. Ibrāhīm > Isḥāq > al-Ākharān > Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah > ʿAmr > Ṭāwus Waʿaṭāʾ > Ibn ʿAbbās

Ibn 'Abbas (Allah be pleased with them) reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got himself cupped in the state of lhrim.  

مسلم:١٢٠٢ – حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَزُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ إِسْحَاقُ أَخْبَرَنَا وَقَالَ الآخَرَانِ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ طَاوُسٍ وَعَطَاءٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ؓ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ  

muslim:1203 – Abū Bakr b. Abū Shaybah > al-Muʿallá b. Manṣūr > Sulaymān b. Bilāl > ʿAlqamah b. Abū ʿAlqamah > ʿAbd al-Raḥman al-Aʿraj > Ibn Buḥaynah

Ibn Buhaina reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ got himself cupped in the middle of his head on his way to Mecca.  

مسلم:١٢٠٣ – وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ بِلاَلٍ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الأَعْرَجِ عَنِ ابْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ بِطَرِيقِ مَكَّةَ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ وَسَطَ رَأْسِهِ
