[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Nothing less than five awsaq of dates or barley is considered as a Sadaqah (charitable act)." Abu Abdur-Rahman Ismail said, "I do not know of anyone who followed him (the Prophet) in this statement except for trustworthy individuals."

الكبرى للنسائي:٢٢٧٤ – أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْمُبَارَكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أُمَيَّةَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَيْسَ فِيمَا دُونَ خَمْسَةِ أَوْسَاقٍ مِنْ حَبِّ وَتَمْرٍ صَدَقَةٌ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ إِسْمَاعِيلُ لَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا تَابَعَهُ عَلَى قَوْلِهِ مِنْ حَبٍّ وَهُوَ ثِقَةٌ
