‘Beware of al-Mughīrah bin Sa’īd and Abū Abd ar-Rahīm for they are both liars’.  

مسلم:i٠٤٧ – وَحَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مَهْدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ قَالَ

قَالَ لَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ إِيَّاكُمْ وَالْمُغِيرَةَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ وَأَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحِيمِ فَإِنَّهُمَا كَذَّابَانِ
