This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of 'Imran b. Husain with a slight variation of wording.  

مسلم:٢٩٤٦b – حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ الرَّقِّيُّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ حُمَيْدِ بْنِ هِلاَلٍ عَنْ ثَلاَثَةِ رَهْطٍ مِنْ قَوْمِهِ فِيهِمْ أَبُو قَتَادَةَ قَالُوا كُنَّا نَمُرُّ عَلَى هِشَامِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ إِلَى عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ مُخْتَارٍ غَيْرَ

أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَمْرٌ أَكْبَرُ مِنَ الدَّجَّالِ
