My father was brought in a state that his ears had been cut off and (his dead body) was placed before Allah's Apostle ﷺ, the rest of the hadith is the same.

جِيءَ بِأَبِي يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ مُجَدَّعًا فَوُضِعَ بَيْنَ يَدَىِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِهِمْ
