This hadith has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah through another chain of transmitters.  

مسلم:٢٢٩٧c – حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ وَإِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ جَرِيرٍ ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ جَمِيعًا عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِ الأَعْمَشِ وَفِي حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ عَنْ مُغِيرَةَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا وَائِلٍ
