This hadith has been reported on the authority of Ayyub with a slight variation of wording.  

مسلم:٢٠٨٠c – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ مِثْلَهُ

وَقَالَ إِزَارًا غَلِيظًا
