Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent an expedition to the land of the tribe of Juhaina, and appointed a person as a chief over them.  

مسلم:١٩٣٥g – وَحَدَّثَنِي حَجَّاجُ بْنُ الشَّاعِرِ حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ ح وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَافِعٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُنْذِرِ الْقَزَّازُ كِلاَهُمَا عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ قَيْسٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مِقْسَمٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ

بَعَثَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ بَعْثًا إِلَى أَرْضِ جُهَيْنَةَ وَاسْتَعْمَلَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَجُلاً وَسَاقَ الْحَدِيثَ بِنَحْوِ حَدِيثِهِمْ
