A hadith like this has been narrated on the authority of Hadrat 'Ali (Allah be pleased with him).  

مسلم:١٣١٧e – وَحَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ الْكَرِيمِ بْنُ مَالِكٍ الْجَزَرِيُّ أَنَّ مُجَاهِدًا أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ أَبِي لَيْلَى أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَمَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ
