Malik related to me from Nafi that Abdullah ibn Umar freed an illegitimate child and its mother.  

مالك:٣٨-١٧ – وَحَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ أَعْتَقَ وَلَدَ زِنًا وَأُمَّهُ
