Charity to one's husband and children
[AI] Then the Prophet ﷺ said to her: "Ibn Mas'ud has spoken the truth. Your husband and your child are the most entitled of those upon whom you give charity."
This report indicates that the sons of Ibn Mas'ud whom the Prophet ﷺ mentioned in the report of Abu Hurayrah, "and upon his sons," were the sons of Abdullah ibn Mas'ud from Zaynab.
فَقَالَ لَهَا النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: «صَدَقَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ، زَوْجُكِ وَوَلَدُكِ أَحَقُّ مَنْ تَصَدَّقْتِ بِهِ عَلَيْهِمْ».
فَهَذَا الْخَبَرُ دَالٌّ عَلَى أَنَّ بَنِيَّ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ الَّذِينَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فِي خَبَرِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: «وَعَلَى بَنِيهِ»، كَانُوا بَنِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ مِنْ زَيْنَبَ.
