The hadith of Jibril with mention of Wudu

ibnkhuzaymah:1Abū Yaʿqūb Yūsuf b. Wāḍiḥ al-Hāshimī > al-Muʿtamir b. Sulaymān > Sulaymān > Yaḥyá b. Yaʿmar

[AI] I said—meaning, to Abdullah ibn Umar: "O Abu Abd al-Rahman, some people claim that there is no decree." He said, "Is any one of them with us?" I said, "No." He said, "Then convey to them from me, when you meet them, that Ibn Umar disavows you before Allah, and you are free of him." Then he said: Umar ibn al-Khattab narrated to me, saying: While we were sitting with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ among some people, a man came who showed no trace of travel and was not from the people of the town. He stepped through until he arrived, then sat in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "O Muhammad, what is Islam?" He said: "Islam is that you testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, establish prayer, give zakah, perform Hajj to the House, perform Umrah, wash after janabah, complete wudu, and fast Ramadan." He said, "If I do that, am I a Muslim?" He said: "Yes." He said, "You have spoken the truth." And he mentioned the hadith at length concerning the question about iman, ihsan, and the Hour.
