The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever vows that he will be obedient to Allah, should remain obedient to Him; and whoever made a vow that he will disobey Allah, should not disobey Him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَهُ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever vowed to be obedient to Allah, must be obedient to Him; and whoever vowed to be disobedient to Allah, should not be disobedient to Him."

قَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَهُ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

"Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

"I heard the Messenger of Allah say: 'Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him.'"

سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, but if anyone vows to disobey Him, let him not disobey Him.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever vowed to obey Allah, then he should obey Him. And whoever vowed to disobey Allah, then he should not disobey Him."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

"Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, and whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him. "

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ

Yahya related to me from Malik from Talha ibn Abi al-Malik al- Ayli from al-Qasim ibn Muhammad ibn as-Siddiq from A'isha that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him. Whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him." Yahya said that he had heard Malik say, "The meaning of the statement of the Prophet ﷺ 'Whoever vows to disobey Allah, let him not disobey Him' is that for instance a man who vows that, if he speaks to such-and-such a person, he will walk to Syria, Egypt, or any other such things which are not considered as ibada, is not under any obligation by any of that, even if he did speak to the man or did break whatever it was he swore, because Allah does not demand obedience in such things. He should only fulfill those things in which there is obedience to Allah."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلاَ يَعْصِهِ۔ إِنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَمْشِيَ إِلَى الشَّأْمِ، أَوْ إِلَى مِصْرَ، أَوْ إِلَى الرَّبَذَةِ، أَوْ مَا أَشْبَهَ ذلِكَ مِمَّا لَيْسَ للهِ بِطَاعَةٍ. إِنْ كَلَّمَ فُلَانًا، أَوْ مَا أَشْبَهَ ذلِكَ. فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ فِي شَيْءٍ مِنْ ذلِكَ، شَيْءٌ، إِنْ هُوَ كَلَّمَهُ، أَوْ حَنِثَ بِمَا حَلَفَ عَلَيْهِ، لِأَنَّهُ لَيْسَ للهِ فِي هذِهِ الْأَشْيَاءِ طَاعَةٌ. وَإِنَّمَا يُوَفَّى للهِ بِمَا لَهُ فِيهِ طَاعَةٌ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, but if anyone vows to disobey Him, let him not disobey Him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3289)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ ﷻ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللهَ ﷻ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ

That the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever vowed to obey Allah, then he should obey Him. And whoever vowed to disobey Allah, then he should not disobey Him." (Using translation from Tirmidhī 1526)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللهَ جَلَّ وَعَزَّ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, but if anyone vows to disobey Him, let him not disobey Him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3289)

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللَّهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللَّهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ»

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ»

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ as saying: If anyone vows to obey Allah, let him obey Him, but if anyone vows to disobey Him, let him not disobey Him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 3289)

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ»

[Machine] Narrated Aisha, the wife of the Prophet (PBUH), that the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said: "Whoever vows to obey Allah, then let him obey Him. And whoever vows to disobey Allah, then let him not disobey Him."

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وَؓ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَ اللهَ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Whoever vows that he will be obedient to Allah, should remain obedient to Him; and whoever made a vow that he will disobey Allah, should not disobey Him." (Using translation from Bukhārī 6696)

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ فَلْيُطِعْهُ وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يَعْصِيَهُ فَلَا يَعْصِهِ

"مَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يُطِيعَ اللهَ فَليُطِعْهُ، وَمَنْ نَذَرَ أَنْ يِعْصِي اللهَ فَلا يَعْصِهِ".
