«شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا»

We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (the difficulty of) saying prayer on the intensely heated (ground or sand), but he paid no heed to our complaint.
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ الصَّلاَةَ فِي الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا
"We complained to the Messenger of Alalh ﷺ about how hot the sand was, but he did not respond to our complaint." It was said to Abu Ishaq (one of the narrators): "Did they complain regarding his praying it early?" He said: "Yes."
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا قِيلَ لأَبِي إِسْحَاقَ فِي تَعْجِيلِهَا قَالَ نَعَمْ
"We complained to the Messenger of Allah about the heat of the sunbaked ground, but he did not respond to our complaint."
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ حَرَّ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا
[Machine] I heard Khabbab saying, "We complained to the Messenger of Allah, ﷺ , about our hardships during Ramadan, but he did not sympathize with us." Shu'bah said that he meant complaining about the midday heat.
سَمِعْتُ خَبَّابًا يَقُولُ شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا قَالَ شُعْبَةُ يَعْنِي فِي الظُّهْرِ
[Machine] "We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunger, but he did not show any signs of discontent."
«شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا»

[Machine] "We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the severe hunger, but he did not sympathize with us and said about the prayer of al-Hajir."

[Machine] We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the intense heat of the midday, and he did not respond to us. He said, "Once the sun sets, then pray."
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شِدَّةَ الرَّمْضَاءِ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا قَالَ «إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلُّوا»
[Machine] "We complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about hunger, but he did not show any signs of suffering."
«شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا»
[Machine] Who among us complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the heat of the hot season, but he did not complain and said, "When the sun sets, then pray"?
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ فَمَا أَشْكَانَا وَقَالَ «إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلُّوا»
"We complained to the Messenger of Allah about the heat of the sunbaked ground, but he did not respond to our complaint." (Using translation from Ibn Mājah 676)

[Machine] Whoever complained to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about the intensity of hunger on his forehead and his hands, and he did not empathize with us.
شَكَوْنَا إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شِدَّةَ الرَّمْضَاءِ فِي جِبَاهِنَا وَأَكُفِّنَا فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا
" شَكَوْنَا إلى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الصَّلَاةَ فِى الرَّمْضَاءِ، فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا".
"شَكَوْنَا إلى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شِدَّةَ حَرِّ الرَّمْضَاءِ، فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا، وَقَالَ: إِذَا زَالَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَصَلُّوا".
"شَكَوْنَا إلى رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الرَّمْضَاءَ فَلَمْ يُشْكِنَا، يَقُولُ في صَلَاةِ الهَجِيرِ".
