Recite the Quran while hearts are in harmony

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you agree about its interpretation, but if you have any difference of opinion (as regards to its interpretation and meaning) then you should stop reciting it (for the time being).

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you are in agreement as to its interpretation and meanings, but when you have differences regarding its interpretation and meanings, then you should stop reciting it (for the time being.) (See Hadith No 581, Vol. 6)

رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْد اللَّهِ سَمِعَ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ سَلَّامًا

Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as your hearts are in agreement as to its meanings, but if you have differences as regards its meaning, stop reading it then."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ وَقَالَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ عَنْ هَارُونَ الأَعْوَرِ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عِمْرَانَ عَنْ جُنْدَبٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ

Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts agree to do so, and when you feel variance between them (between your hearts and tongues), then get up (and leave its recital for the time being).

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا

Recite the Qur'an as long as your hearts agree to do so and when you find variance between them, then stand up.

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا

[AI] The Prophet (pbuh) said, "Read the Quran as long as you are in agreement with it. But when you differ in understanding, then stand up (to resolve the difference)."

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا»

The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite (and study) the Qur'an as long as you agree about its interpretation, but when you have any difference of opinion (as regards its interpretation and meaning) then you should stop reciting it (for the time being)' (Using translation from Bukhārī 5061)

«اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا»

[AI] On the authority of Jundub ibn Abdullah, who narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said, "Read the Quran as long as your hearts are in agreement with it. But if you disagree regarding its interpretation, then step away from it."

عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ»

[AI] On the authority of Jundub ibn Abdullah, he said: The Prophet ﷺ said, "Recite the Quran as long as your hearts are in agreement upon it. But when you differ regarding it, then stay away from it."

عَنْ جُنْدُبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ رَفَعَهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «اقْرَؤُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Come together on the Quran, whatever you agree upon in it. And when you differ in it, then stand up."

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى الْقُرْآنِ مَا ائْتَلَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا»

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى الْقُرْآنِ مَا ائْتَلَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا»

[AI] The Prophet ﷺ said, "Gather around the Quran as long as you are in agreement upon it. But if you differ in interpretation, then stand up (and refrain from discussion)." He mentioned this to us on another occasion, and he did not raise his hand (to signal the end of his statement).

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى الْقُرْآنِ مَا ائْتَلَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَقُومُوا» وَأَخْبَرَنَا بِهِ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

قَالَ عُمَرُ «اقْرَءُوا الْقُرْآنَ مَا اتَّفَقْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فَقُومُوا»

"اجتمعوا على القرآنِ، ما ائتلفتم عليه، فإذا اختلفتم فَقُومُوا" .

"اقْرءُوا القرآنَ ما ائْتَلَفَتْ عَلَيهِ قلوبُكمُ، فإِذَا اختلفتم فيه فَقُومُوا ".

"عَنْ عُمَرَ قَالَ: اقْرَأُوا القُرْآنَ مَا اتَّفَقَتْ عَلَيْهِ قُلُوبُكُمْ، فَإِذَا اخْتَلَفْتُمْ فِيهِ فَقُومُوا عَنْهُ".
