Messenger of Allah ﷺ separated (divorced) the wife from her husband who accused her for an illegal sexual intercourse, and made them take the oath of Lian .  

أَخْبَرَهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَرَّقَ بَيْنَ رَجُلٍ وَامْرَأَةٍ قَذَفَهَا وَأَحْلَفَهُمَا  

The Prophet ﷺ made an Ansari man and his wife carry out Lian, and then separated them by divorce.  

لاَعَنَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ بَيْنَ رَجُلٍ وَامْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الأَنْصَارِ وَفَرَّقَ بَيْنَهُمَا
