'A'isha (Allah be pleased with her) reported that Messenger of Allah ﷺ bought some grain from a Jew on credit and gave him a coat-of- mail of his as a pledge.
قَالَتِ اشْتَرَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ طَعَامًا بِنَسِيئَةٍ فَأَعْطَاهُ دِرْعًا لَهُ رَهْنًا
"The Messenger of Allah bought some food from a Jew on credit, and he gave him a shield of his as a pledge. "
قَالَتِ اشْتَرَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ يَهُودِيٍّ طَعَامًا بِنَسِيئَةٍ وَأَعْطَاهُ دِرْعًا لَهُ رَهْنًا
