O Allah, I make a covenant with Thee against which Thou wouldst never go. I am a human being and thus for a Muslim whom I give any harm or whom I scold or upon whom I invoke curse or whom I beat, make this a source of blessing, purification and nearness to Thee on the Day of Resurrection.

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ فَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَىُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ شَتَمْتُهُ لَعَنْتُهُ جَلَدْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلاَةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا إِلَيْكَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

O Allah, I make a covenant with Thee against which Thou wouldst never go. [Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "O Allah, I make with You a covenant that You will not abandon me. Indeed, I am only human, so whichever slave I have whipped, insulted, or cursed, make it a prayer and means of closeness for him."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّمَا عَبْدٍ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ سَبَبْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَقُرْبَةً

[Machine] On the authority of the Prophet, ﷺ , he said, "O Allah, indeed I am only human. So whoever I have beaten, cursed, or insulted, make it a means of purification, reward, and closeness to You on the Day of Judgment."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَتَّخِذُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَهُ وَإِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأَيُّمَا مُؤْمِنٍ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ»

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "O Allah, I have made a covenant with You that You will not break. Indeed, I am only a human, so if I ever harm or insult a believer, or beat them, or curse them, then make it for them a means of prayer, purification, and nearness [to You] on the Day of Judgment." This is the wording of the Hadith of As-Sulami.

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ اللهُمَّ إِنِّي اتَّخَذْتُ عِنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَهُ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ فَأِيُّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ آذَيْتُهُ أَوْ شَتَمْتُهُ أَوْ جَلَدْتُهُ أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلْهَا لَهُ صَلَاةً وَزَكَاةً وَقُرْبَةً تُقَرِّبُهُ بِهَا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ لَفْظُ حَدِيثِ السُّلَمِيِّ

"اللَّهُمَّ إِنّى أَتَّخِذُ عنْدَكَ عَهْدًا لَنْ تُخْلِفَنِيهِ، فَإِنَّمَا أنَا بَشَرٌ، فَأيما مُؤمِنٍ آذَيتُهُ، أو شتَمْتُهُ، أَوْ جَلَدْتُه، أَوْ لَعَنْتُهُ فَاجْعَلهَا لَهُ صَلاةً، وَزَكَاة وقُرْبَةً تُقَرَبهُ بِهَا إِلَيك يَوْمَ القِيَامَةَ" .

"اللَّهُمَّ أَتَّخذُ عنْدَكَ عَهْدًا تُؤَدِّيهِ إِلى يَوْمَ القِيَامةِ، إِنّكَ لَا تُخْلفُ المِيعَادَ، فَإنَّمَا أنَا بشَرٌ، فَأيُّ المُسلِمِين آذَيتُهُ، أوْ شَتَمْتُهُ، أوْ ضرَبْتُهُ، أو سَببتُهُ فَاجْعَلهَا لَهُ صَلاةً وَاجْعلهَا لَهُ زَكَاةً، وَقُرْبَةً تُقْرِّبهُ بِهَا إِلَيكَ يَوْمَ القِيَامَةِ ".
