The Last Hour would not come before the Euphrates uncovers a mountain of gold, for which people would fight. Ninety-nine out of each one hundred would die but every man amongst them would say that perhaps he would be the one who would be saved (and thus possess this gold).

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسِرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَقْتَتِلُ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ فَيُقْتَلُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ وَيَقُولُ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ لَعَلِّي أَكُونُ أَنَا الَّذِي أَنْجُو

“The Hour will not begin until the Euphrates uncovers a mountain of gold and people fight over it, and out of every ten, nine will be killed.’”

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسِرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلُ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ فَيُقْتَلُ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشَرَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ

[Machine] The Prophet ﷺ said, "The time will come when the Euphrates river will dry up, revealing a mountain made of gold. People will fight over it and for every ten people, nine will be killed, leaving only one alive."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ يُوشِكُ أَنْ يَحْسِرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَقْتَتِلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ مِنْ كُلِّ عَشْرَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَيَبْقَى وَاحِدٌ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "The Euphrates River will recede to uncover a mountain of gold, or the Hour will not come until the Euphrates River recedes to uncover a mountain of gold and people fight over it, and those who fight over it will be killed, and from every hundred, ninety-nine will be killed. O son, if you reach that time, do not be among those who fight over it."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ يَحْسِرُ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ أَوْ لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسِرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلَ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَيُقْتَلَ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ يَا بُنَيَّ فَإِنْ أَدْرَكْتَهُ فَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِمَّنْ يُقَاتِلُ عَلَيْهِ

[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The Euphrates river will recede, revealing a mountain of gold. People will fight over it, and for every one hundred ninety or ninety-nine, all of them will think they will be saved."

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسُرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ تَلٍّ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ فَيُقْتَلُ تِسْعَةُ أَعْشَارِهِمْ»

[Machine] The Prophet of Allah ﷺ said, "The Hour will not be established until the Euphrates River dries up, uncovering a mountain of gold, and people fight over nine-tenths of it."

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «لَا تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسُرَ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يَقْتَتِلُ تِسْعَةُ أَعْشَارِهِمْ»

"لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسرَ الْفرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ يقْتَتِلُ عَلَيْهِ النَّاسُ، فَيُقْتَلُ تِسعَةُ أعْشَارِهِمْ".

"لاَ تَقُومُ السَّاعَةُ حَتَّى يَحْسِرَ الفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِن ذَهَب يَقْتَتِلُ النَّاسُ عَلَيْهِ فَيُقتَلُ مِنْ كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وتِسْعُونَ، ويَقُولُ كُلُّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُم: لَعَلىَّ أكُوَنُ الذى أَنْجُو".

"يَحْسرُ الْفُرَاتُ عَنْ جَبَلٍ مِنْ ذَهَبٍ فَيَقْتَتِلُونَ عَلَيْهِ، فَيُقْتَلُ مِن كُلِّ مِائَةٍ تِسْعَةٌ وَتِسْعُونَ، وَلَا تَقُومُ السَّاعةُ إِلَّا نَهَارًا".
