[AI] "A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while having drunk alcohol, so he ordered for him to be flogged with forty lashes. Then Abu Bakr brought a man who had drunk alcohol and he did the same to him. Then Umar brought a man who had drunk alcohol and he consulted the people about it, so Abdul Rahman ibn Awf said, 'He deserves to be punished with eighty lashes.' So Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, flogged him with eighty lashes."
