"Every boy is in pledge for his 'Aqiqah, so slaughter (the animal) for him on the seventh day, and shave his head, and a name"

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ غُلاَمٍ رَهِينٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ سَابِعِهِ وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَيُسَمَّى

“Every boy is mortgaged by his ‘Aqiqah, so slaughter for him on the seventh day, and shave his head, and name him.”

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ كُلُّ غُلاَمٍ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ تُذْبَحُ عَنْهُ يَوْمَ السَّابِعِ وَيُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ وَيُسَمَّى

اللَّهُ عَلَيه وَسَلَّم قَالَ الْغُلامُ مُرْتَهَنٌ بِعَقِيقَتِهِ فَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الأَذَى وَاحْلِقُوا رَأْسَهُوَقَدْ رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ قَتَادَةُ عَن الْحَسَنِ عَنْ سَمُرة بِقَرِيبٍ مِنْ هَذَا اللَّفْظِ ولاَ نَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عَنْ مَطَرٍ إلاَّ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بن طهمان
