[Machine] Muawiyah said to the people, "Complete your prayers." Then each person stood up and completed their prayer, and no one preceded anyone else, and the people did not precede him.  

البيهقي:٥٢٥٩ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحُسَيْنِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْقَطَّانُ بِبَغْدَادَ أنبأ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَعِيدٍ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ وَسُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَا ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ نَمِرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي خَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ رَبَاحٍ السُّلَمِيُّ أَنَّهُ صَلَّى مَعَ مُعَاوِيَةَ يَوْمَ طُعِنَ بِإِيلِيَاءَ رَكْعَةً وَطُعِنَ مُعَاوِيَةُ حِينَ قَضَاهَا فَأَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْفَعَ رَأْسَهُ مِنْ سُجُودِهِ فَقَالَ

مُعَاوِيَةُ لِلنَّاسِ أَتِمُّوا صَلَاتَكُمْ فَقَامَ كُلُّ امْرِئٍ فَأَتَمَّ صَلَاتَهُ وَلَمْ يُقَدِّمْ أَحَدًا وَلَمْ يُقَدِّمْهُ النَّاسُ
