[Machine] The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to shorten the two rak'ahs of Fajr prayer. And Mas'ar narrated from a man from the Ansar, from Sa'id bin Jubair, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sometimes prolonged the two rak'ahs of Fajr prayer.  

البيهقي:٤٨٨٢ – أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو طَاهِرٍ الْفَقِيهُ أنبأ أَبُو حَامِدِ بْنُ بِلَالٍ الْبَزَّارُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بِشْرٍ ثنا وَكِيعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُخَفِّفُ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ قَالَ وَقَالَ مِسْعَرٌ عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ رُبَّمَا أَطَالَ رَكْعَتَيِ الْفَجْرِ  

رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ عَمْرٍو النَّاقِدِ عَنْ وَكِيعٍ دُونَ رِوَايَةِ مِسْعَرٍ وَإِنَّمَا هِيَ مُنْقَطِعَةٌ وَرَوَاهُ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ عَنْ وَكِيعٍ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ
