[Machine] That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ performed two units of prayer after Witr, reciting in them while sitting. When he intended to go into prostration, he stood up and then performed the prostration. Abu Abdullah Ishaq ibn Muhammad al-Sousi narrated to us, Abu al-Abbas al-Asamm narrated to us, reporting from al-Abbas ibn al-Walid, who reported from my father, who reported from al-Awza'i, who reported from Yahya, who mentioned it.  

البيهقي:٤٨١٩وَرَوَاهُ الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَكَعَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْوِتْرِ قَرَأَ فِيهِمَا وَهُوَ جَالِسٌ فَلَمَّا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَرْكَعَ قَامَ فَرَكَعَ أَخْبَرَنَاهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ السُّوسِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْأَصَمُّ أنبأ الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي ثنا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنْ يَحْيَى فَذَكَرَهُ
